Mark Wahlberg's latest film will be flying into theaters this fall, with Lionsgate setting an October 18 release date for Flight Risk.
The 52-year-old actor will star alongside Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) and Topher Grace (That 70s Show) in the film, via The Hollywood Reporter.
As of now, the film, directed by Mel Gibson, will go up against Paramount's Smile 2 and Searchlight Pictures' A Real Pain with Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg.
Wahlberg - who shared a heartfelt message to his late mother Alma and his wife Rhea on Mother's Day - will play a pilot in the new film.
The story centers on an Air Marshal (Dockery) who is transferring a fugitive (Grace) across the Alaskan wilderness on a small plane.

The script from Jared Rosenberg landed on The Black List in 2020, the annual list of most-liked unmade scripts from that year.
Then in May 2023, Mel Gibson signed on to direct, with Wahlberg attached to star, reuniting with Gibson with Wahlberg.
They had previously starred together on Father Stu and both Daddy's Home movies for Paramount.
The Flight Risk project marks the first time that Gibson was taking the helm since his 2016 Best Picture nominee, Hacksaw Ridge.
Gibson will also produce alongside Bruce Davey through their Icon Productions company and with John Davis' Davis Entertainment.
The film started production in June 2023, and was one of several projects to receive a SAG-AFTRA waiver for filming to continue during the writer and actor strikes.
Lionsgate also set a September 13, 2024 release date for director JJ Perry's action comedy The Killer's Game.
